The First Month

The first month was going so well until Isaac came down with hand, foot and mouth disease the other week.  Isaac was miserable and I was so concerned that Ethan was going to get it or even just get a fever.  Babies under the age of eight weeks will likely be hospitalized if they get a fever over about 100 degrees.  Other than that, we have been doing well.

I have added a few photos that compare the boys at similar ages.  I think they look quite a bit alike, however, you will notice that Ethan certainly has a jumpstart in the weight category.  At a month old, Ethan is about twelve pounds and Isaac was about nine pounds.

Isaac is still interested in Ethan.  He will ask to hold and kiss him and he asks where he is in the morning when he gets up.  However, he does not like it when Ethan cries.  He asks him to stop crying or he says, "Ethan is sad."  We keep explaining that babies do not know how to talk so they cry to try and tell us what they need.  I think he is starting to get it.

Kinsley was very interested in baby Ethan!

Ethan - this is the same outfit. Ethan is about 4 or 5 days old in this picture.

Isaac - 2 days old.

My cousin and his triplet girls (15 months) were visiting Wisconsin from Texas and stopped by so we could meet them.
