Fourth of July Fun

We spent the fourth of July in Madison at Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's house.  The weekend consisted of parties, water fun, boat rides and going to the zoo.  Isaac was one tired boy by the end of the weekend.

He got to see almost all of his aunts.  Aunt Tanya and Aunt Tara were home for the weekend and Aunt Katie went to the zoo with us.  We were only missing Aunt C but we got to see her this weekend!

On the fourth, my parents had a party and Isaac enjoyed playing with all the children.  They played in the pool, on the slide and in the sprinkler.  After a long day and one short nap, we did not try to take Isaac to see the fireworks.  Maybe next year!

We went out to dinner on the boat on Friday and I was not sure how Isaac would do with the life jacket since it was a 45 minute trip to and from the restaurant.  Luckily, he did great. There was no crying or insisting on taking it off.  He stayed busy feeding bread to the ducks (and himself) and Grandpa even let him drive the boat.

It was a fun weekend!

Time to rest.

So tired.

This is a long walk to the boat.

Nice life jacket.

Hi Aunties and Deepa!  (Isaac's hair has really started growing and curling after his haircut.)

Vroom, vroom.

Faster!

Isaac is spoiled at Grandma and Grandpa's.  He got to go to the park and play in the sandbox in his pajamas.
