One Messy Christmas

To say the least, this was one eventful Christmas.  We traveled to Madison to celebrate with the Thompson Family.  Then we went to the Brasel household to celebrate with the extended Gore Family.  Finally, we packed up and traveled to West Bend to conclude the Christmas festivities.

The fun began on Christmas Eve.  We attempted the 7 pm mass with three children under the age of three.  They all did extremely well until the closing song when Isaac vomited all over the floor and the pew in front of us (thank goodness for the help of our families).  He seemed to be okay on Christmas but he did not want to be set down and he certainly was not his smiley self. After having a fever for the next few days, the vomiting started again on Friday.  He seems to be on the mend now.  Needless to say, Isaac could have had a better first Christmas but we still enjoyed all the time with our relatives!

I did not bother Isaac with too many pictures but here are a few from the past week.

Christmas at home.

He loved the paper.

A big stocking for a little boy.

I am excited for Isaac to feel better so we can take him out in the snow.

Loves walking these days.

Playing with Grandpa.

Aunt C, Uncle P and Kinsley got Isaac blocks.

Boy cousins!

Reindeer.

Still loves the paper.

He loves the musical toys from Aunt Katie, Uncle Cory, Eli and Evelyn.

Ho, Ho, Ho!

We took Isaac to cut down a Christmas tree, to see Santa and to a Badger basketball game.  He enjoyed them all except sitting on Santa's lap.  He was not one of the babies that screams before you put him on Santa's lap but he quickly realized that he did not know the man with the beard.  He then started to whimper so Dad "saved" him.

One random picture from Thanksgiving.

Fun with Family

I am really behind in blogging as usual.  So, once again, here are a few pictures from the last month of our lives.

Isaac is now very busy.  There is no such thing as sitting still.  He is doing the following:

1. clapping
2. signing "more"
3. standing in crib
4. pulling up on everything
5. walking around furniture a little
6. pushing a walking toy
7. mastered drinking out of a sippy cup
8. eating all sorts of finger foods

It is nearly impossible to take a picture of him these days.  I have to make sure he does not jump off the couch.

Tanya and Adam were in town for a rugby tournament so Isaac got to meet Adam!

I love you Daddy!

Happy Halloween

I think the pictures speak for themselves. Isaac went to the pumpkin farm with Grandma and Grandpa and then celebrated Halloween with friends from mom's group.

Can you find Isaac?

Not so tall yet.

There were a lot of skeletons
