Birthdays and Visits!!!

Aunt Tanya and Aunt Tara were in Madison this weekend!  We spent the weekend apple picking and celebrating birthdays (Aunt Tara, Andy and Hallie's).  It was such a treat to have Aunt Tanya visiting from Denver.  It is so fun to watch Isaac interact with his Aunts and Grandparents.  He is all about Grandpa (Papa) these days.  He wakes up asking for him and he starts saying Papa the minute we approach his house.

Isaac is really starting to repeat words.  In the past few weeks, he has learned how to say pizza, hippo, Abby, people, apple pie, tick-tock, teeter-totter, shoe and big bird.  It is so fun to watch him learn.

Cousin Kinsley Turns One!

We traveled to Iowa for Cousin Kinsley's first birthday party.  It was so fun to watch her walk around and play with all the cousins.  They are all growing up way too fast.

Isaac was a great traveler.  Between sleeping and eating, we made it the entire way home without stopping!  He slept over 3.5 of the 4.5 hour drive.

I thought I would share a few things Isaac is doing these days:
  • climbing on everything, especially furniture
  • starting two word phrases (e.g., buh-bye Daddy)
  • pooped and peed on the potty (only once, we are not potty training yet)
  • has had two haircuts
  • can pick out letters A, B, D, I, M, O and P
  • loves Elmo
  • he knows a decent number of animal sounds
  • he has twelve teeth including the four one year molars
Here are a few pictures from the birthday party:
