The Four Month Old

Isaac is four months old today.  We took a few pictures to capture his size and smile at this point in time.  As you will notice, he has definitely filled out (aka...become a little chunky).  He is so much fun these days. He is now grabbing toys and getting them to his mouth.  He is starting to reach for whatever I have in my hands.  He is still rolling from front to back and starting to roll onto his side when on his back.  He is up to 13 lbs 11 oz!

As you can see, Isaac still loves to chew on his fingers.

It probably looks like it would be easy to take these pictures but here is what happens behind the scenes.

Sassy boy

Isaac has been talking quite a bit lately.  It is usually pretty sassy and loud.  He is a big fan of eating his hands and reaching for his toys.

Neighbor Girl

We took a few trips to Madison this past month.  During one of the trips, the neighbor girl, Savannah, came over to play and help with Isaac.  She is so good with him.  She has a little brother at home so she has a lot of experience with babies.  Isaac had a lot of fun playing with her.

He was quite heavy for her so we had to give her a few breaks.

Traci's Baby Shower

 Since I have been back at work, I have not been good about updating the blog.  Here is my attempt to catch up.  A few weeks ago, we traveled to Wausau for my college roommate, Traci's, baby shower.  She is having a little girl in June.

Isaac was one of two boys at the shower so he decided to go to sleep.

Three months old

Isaac was three months old on April 16th.  It is extremely difficult to get a good picture of a three month old.  He is a very smiley boy but always stops smiling when I bring out the camera.  He really only smiles when other people are taking his picture.  I still think he is cute though!  We are really enjoying this stage.  He smiles, laughs, giggles, talks (a lot), rolls over occasionally, reaches for and grabs toys and is starting to be able to entertain himself for longer periods of time.   We love how interactive he is right now.

He noticed his bear and that was the end of the photo shoot.  He refused to look at me after that. 

Isaac is Baptized!

Isaac was baptized on Sunday, April 15th at St. Dominic Parish.  His aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents, cousins and many more came to witness and celebrate his baptism.  It was so nice to have everyone in town.  We are so thankful for our families!
