Evelyn's Baptism Weekend

I know it has been a while since I have posted.  I got a new computer but for some reason, it was not letting me downtown more than one photo.  It is finally working now!  So here are a bunch of pictures.  Evelyn was baptized a few weeks ago and we had such a great time hanging out with family and celebrating her baptism.

The boys were building clapping and building towers in a box.

Adorable little girl.

The girls were having fun with each other.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!!!  We celebrated Easter in Madison this year.  Holidays have proven to not be the best for Isaac.  He had his first ear infection over Thanksgiving, the flu at Christmas and he got a black eye for Easter.  Let's hope this trend does not continue and that this is his first and only black eye!  Yeah right.  This child runs around like a crazy man.  I am sure there are more to come.

As you will see in the pictures, I am pretty sure Isaac thought it was Christmas again based on the number of presents and toys he received.

Thanks for the sunglasses Grandma!

Shake, shake, shake!

One of many fun baskets.

Best attempt at a family photo.  Isaac no longer likes to sit still and smile for the camera.

Trying to walk away from the picture.

Isaac loves bubbles.  Good thing he got many bottles of them.

Great Grandpa

Yay, more crayons (for me to eat).  He has started to put them in his mouth to see our reaction.

Ta-da!

Easter egg hunt.  Isaac was really happy with just one egg.

Okay, maybe two.  He was fascinated with opening and closing them.

Professional One Year Photos

Here are a few of Isaac's one year photos a few months late.  We just received the edited versions.  I feel like he has already changed so much but I thought I would post them anyway.

Lots of Daddy Time!

After looking at all the pictures I had from the past month, it looks as though Isaac had a lot of Daddy time (or Mom just always has the camera).  This was a busy month for us.  Isaac had a few bouts of the stomach flu.  He was sick two weekends in a row but now seems to be on the mend.  It is pretty sad when you are celebrating that he has not thrown up for a full week.  We also celebrated Daddy's birthday in March.  Then, we went on vacation to San Francisco for a few days.  Isaac stayed home with Grandparents while we were gone.  He is very lucky to have Grandparents that take such good care of him!  Lastly, as you saw in the prior post, Isaac has started walking.  He gets more stable and confident every day.

Playing with his favorite bath toys: ducky, froggy and basketball hoop.

Funny hair washing?!?!?

We got together with a few of my coworkers from Deloitte and their kiddos.  We all had boys!

Nobody but Grandma would bring presents and let him open them at 6:30 in the morning.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

First attempt at making a cake that was not a single layer nor from a box.  It was good but not exponentially better than the boxed cake and it certainly took longer to make.

Isaac helped Daddy open his presents.

I could only capture one of them smiling at a time.

Birthday hug for Daddy.

Coloring!

No, not your left hand.

Ahhh, right hand.  Good job.

Isaac has spent hours taking the crayons and markers out of their cases and putting them back in.

Wow, Daddy is coloring instead of watching basketball.

Oh, just kidding.  Daddy is coloring AND watching basketball.  We were so excited to have Daddy home on Friday but we were not excited that the Badgers lost.

Walking and Dancing Videos

Technology has not been on my side lately.  I am in need of a new computer and camera right now.  We are trying to get by with what we have for a while so this is the best I can do.  The first video shows Isaac's walking/running skills.  He still is not walking without assistance but he loves "driving" his toys around the house.  In the second video, Isaac is dancing to the music from his cash register.
