Happy Halloween

I think the pictures speak for themselves. Isaac went to the pumpkin farm with Grandma and Grandpa and then celebrated Halloween with friends from mom's group.

Can you find Isaac?

Not so tall yet.

Little Man

It turns out Isaac is not so big after all.  We took him to his nine month appointment a few weeks ago and he had dropped a bit in all percentiles.  He is now in the 20th percentile for height, 25th for weight (18 lbs 11 ounces) and 5th for head circumference.  The doctor was not concerned but I was a little surprised that he is only in the 25th percentile for weight.  He sure seems heavy. The pediatrician said he seems to be right on track for nine months!!!

We have transitioned to more foods including chicken and yogurt.  He is really starting to get the hang of eating finger foods too!

He has started doing a few new things recently including: waving, sitting up in his crib, opening the doors on the entertainment center and climbing on and over toys.

Presents!

Isaac had fun opening some early Halloween presents from Grandma G. and Great Grandma Grinde.  He especially liked the bags and tissue paper.  Although the books and onesies were fun too!

Visiting Great Grandpa

My Grandpa had a hip replacement a few weeks ago and Isaac has taken multiple trips to visit him.  It is fun to see them interact with each other as it brings smiles to both their faces.

Splash, Splash, Splash

We started swim lessons a few weeks ago and Isaac is having a blast.  He is the youngest child in his class but it is still fun.  His favorite parts of the class include listening to the teacher give instructions, splashing water all over the place (including in his face) and singing "Pop goes the weasel."  Alex captured a few pictures until he got scolded for taking pictures.

Isaac is listening to the teacher on the left.

"Kick, kick, kick."

He is floating on his back while we sing the ABC's.  Surprisingly, Isaac is very content floating on his back.

All he really does is splash in this video.

Multiple Occasions

We have been pretty busy the past few weekends.  Here are a few pictures to capture what we have been doing lately.  Isaac is already 8.5 months old and is getting more and more mobile.  He is also in the process of getting his first tooth!

GG and G-Pa stopped over to see Isaac and keep Grandma company.

Aunt Katie and Uncle Cory watched Isaac while we went to a wedding.  Isaac is very interested in watching everything Eli does.

Only a few years before they start plotting tricks on the "little girls."

8 months!!!  The best pictures I got were the ones that excluded the eight month sign.  He is too interested in eating the paper these days.

We celebrated Kinsley's baptism in Iowa.  It was so fun to see everyone again.

Once again, Kinsley was a perfect baby.  She was content through the entire baptism.

Practicing the man-to-man defense.

Go Badgers!!!  We tried cheering, but they lost.  Let's hope we bring better luck next weekend when we take Isaac to his FIRST Badger game.

Another Cousin!

We traveled to Iowa the other weekend to meet our little niece, Kinsley Elizabeth.  She is absolutely perfect! It was so nice to see Uncle P, Aunt C and Kinsley and to finally see their beautiful home.

It took about 4.5 hours to get there and Isaac was quite the traveler.  He played with Sophie, sang and slept.  We did not have to listen to any crying!

Adorable!
