Ten Months Old

Ethan is almost a year old!  I was packing up clothes for a friend of mine that due with a baby boy in a month and I started getting really sad when I realized how big and old Ethan is getting. It is also amazing how many clothes he has grown out of!

The boys are at really fun ages.  Ethan likes to cuddle a lot more now and Isaac loves giving him hugs. I just have to be careful that he does not try to pick Ethan up.  I don't think Isaac would be able to hold 20 pound for very long which means he will just drop him.  They are already starting to wrestle.  I can only imagine how crazy this household will be once they are older and stronger.

As you will see in the pictures below, Ethan does not sit still.  He is quite the climber.  He likes to climb on the big chair, toys, Isaac, stairs and me.  Luckily, he does not try to climb out of his crib (at least not yet).  He is getting much more stable on his feet.  He will let go of the furniture and stand for a few seconds.  Ethan likes to push toys around while walking.  The more unstable the toy, the more he likes it.  The boys play together quite a bit with these toys.  Ethan usually crashes them into furniture and waits for Isaac to come redirect him.

Ethan still only has four teeth but it looks like a few more are trying to come in.  He is still sleeping from about 7:30 pm to 5:30 am.  He consistently takes two naps that are about 1.5-2 hours each.  He now has his brothers good sleeping habits.  I would love if he would sleep until 6:30 but I will take what I got.  Ethan has tried new foods including graham crackers, tomatoes, rice, beef, peas and crackers.  I have not found anything yet that Ethan will not eat.  I hope that continues when he is a toddler.  He still nurses about five times a day too.

Isaac is going to starting t-ball practices soon.  It should be interesting seeing as he can hardly keep the glove on his hand.  We signed him up for swimming lessons again since he absolutely loved them.  I think it is safe to say that Isaac is officially potty trained.  It look him a while to figure it out but when I finally just put underwear on him, he picked it up.  He has not had too many accidents.  It is pretty nice to only be buying diapers for one child!

I think my favorite part of our days together is when Isaac and I go in to get Ethan up in the morning and from naps.  They both have big smiles on their faces and Isaac peaks in Ethan's crib and says "Good morning Ethan!"  It is quite adorable.  I always start my days off with a smile.  I love all my boys so much!!!

And then there is my other boy!  Alex and I just got back from Vegas on Wednesday.  We were there for four days for my work conference.  It was so nice to spend some time together without the two little ones.  I am so thankful for my wonderful family!

Sit down!

Isaac wanted his picture taken too.

"What mom?"

"Look a block!"

"Okay, I will put them back."
